Song Tao

Song Tao was born in late 1970s and has already become a name that you would never miss out with regards to the new generation of Chinese contemporary art. He has actively been involved in many important art events both in China and abroad. Being indigenous to Shanghai, he kept on observing and documenting his city, people and happenings by photo and video. "Shanghai is a city of his own". Apart from art projects of his own and the "Bird Head" duo, he also closely collaborated with musicians of his generation. He cooperated with the Shanghai musician B6 for a video project with the duration limited as 4.7G (what a DVD5 contains). Again Song Tao will draw inspiration from the music of NO+CH06 for his visual work and bring surprise to audiences.

出生于70年代末的宋涛已是颇具代表性的中国新生代艺术家，曾参加多个国内外重要艺术活动。作为土生土长的上海人，他以影像的方式记录着身边的这座城市、人与事——“上海就是他的城市”。除了自己和“鸟头”组合的艺术项目，宋涛亦与同时代的音乐人有密切合作，如与音乐家B6合作创作录像作品，合作期限为4.7G（一张DVD5光盘的容量）。这次音乐节中，宋涛将再次从听觉灵感出发，以视觉原创作品为观众带来惊喜。
