Joakim Haugland - DJ

Founder of the famous Smalltown Supersound label, named after his home town Flekkefjord in the south of Norway. Supersound is Joakim’s definition of super sound. Jaga Jazzist, Kim Hiorthøy, Lasse Marhaug, Martin Horntveth, and Jazzkammer are the names associated with. Over more than 10 years, it has established itself internationally as a cult label for electronica, free jazz, and noise. The label was selected in MTV Europe’s “This Is Our Music” program in 2004 representing the independent voice from Scandinavia.
